Growing up in the country and playing sports, I had my share of aches and pains. Luckily, I do not have a story of a “carrier ending” injury, but I know what it is like to be injured and having to push through pain. My first experience with chiropractic as a child was accompanying my father to his visits. He was injured while in the military and later diagnosed with Ankylosing spondylitis. In short, he had a condition that was chronic and sure to only worsen if let unmanaged. It wasn’t until I was in high school when I found myself sitting in the office of our town chiropractor. His door was always open for any student athlete that needed help. Long story short… I was in his office frequently before and after football games, which made a world of difference. Having seen the relief provided to family, friends, and myself, I knew I wanted to do this.

My favorite part of being a chiropractic is having the knowledge, skill, and confidence to help others with our hands. I am not against medication or necessary invasive procedures, but it does feel good to help a patient avoid riskier forms of treatment when possible.

Favorite part of working at Texas Healthcare is the culture (and working with Jolynn 😊). This is a company build on compassion and taking care of people. My firm belief is each patient is an individual and success in practice is having the ability to “just do what is right for the patient”. Texas Healthcare embodies those beliefs.
